Broadband Network Planning

Working with our partner, Strategic Networks Group (SNG), we provide market research and planning support for public and private entities that have deployed or are considering deploying a broadband network.

A unique element of our alliance with SNG is that it allows us to evaluate not only the "internal business case" for a broadband network investment, but also the potential socioeconomic benefits that can be derived from such investments. We call this the "Community Return on Investment."

We also work with SNG and local stakeholders to develop broadband adoption plans and education and training initiatives designed to maximize and monitor the benefits derived from a broadband investment.

Broadband Mapping Verification

Statewide efforts to map broadband availability and speeds down to the Census Block level are currently underway around the country, with federal funding now available to support six month updates for up to five years. All such projects are required to include independent data collection and analysis to verify availability data provided by broadband service providers. Having led successful verification efforts in the first round of broadband mapping in Louisiana and Kentucky, we are now making our proven verification services available to other states and their designated mapping entities.
